ISLAMABAD/LAHORE: Students of Cambridge Assessment International Examination (CAIE) in Pakistan got a big relief after the Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood announced that those students and parents still not comfortable could switch to the October or November cycle without any extra charge.

British Council said that students who do not take the exams in this current cycle, will have to inform Cambridge by June 17 and they could appear in the October/November exam cycle without paying an extra fee.

British Council also issued guidelines to appear in the exams.

In a tweet, British Council said, “We understand these are difficult circumstances and we are here to fully support you. We hope you have read and fully understood our SOPs to ensure your safety and that of your fellow candidates.”

A twitter trend, #NCOCcancelexams, has also been among top trends where students are appealing to authorities to cancel the physical exams.
