Bugti emphasized the critical role of partnerships between the government and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in driving sustainable progress. “Public-private collaborations are essential to implement welfare initiatives that enhance the quality of life for our people,” he stated, while calling for stronger alliances to address the province’s pressing issues.

Addressing the issue of corruption, Bugti reaffirmed his government’s commitment to key reforms, particularly in the education sector. He expressed concerns over unethical practices, such as the use of fake degrees in merit-based recruitment, which he described as detrimental to the province’s future. Bugti called on citizens to champion accountability and integrity to create a more transparent and equitable society.

To further strengthen government-NGO collaboration, the Chief Minister announced plans to hold an annual NGO conference. The event will aim to foster partnerships and mutual understanding, with a focus on tackling corruption and boosting transparency in public welfare initiatives.

Youth empowerment emerged as a central theme of Bugti’s address. He unveiled initiatives to support young entrepreneurs, including a partnership with Akhuwat, a leading microfinance institution. Through this collaboration, interest-free loans will be provided to educated youth, enabling them to launch innovative projects and contribute to the province’s economic growth.

“This is a step towards unlocking the potential of our youth and ensuring they have the resources and support to build a brighter future,” Bugti remarked.

The Benazir Bhutto Scholarships and youth-focused initiatives signal a renewed focus on education, entrepreneurship, and accountability in Balochistan, paving the way for sustainable development in the region.
