Under the Prime Minister’s Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship Programme, Sindh Agriculture University distributed cheques among 62 students while as many as 40 minority students received financial aid under the Sindh Government Scholarships for Undergraduate Degree Program.
PM Scholarship cheques were distributed among deserving poor students of undergraduate degree Program, on their academic performance. A total of 102 male and female students received financial assistance under both scholarship programs.
During distribution ceremony at University Senate Hall, Dr. Muhammad Ismail Kumbhar, Director, University Advancement and Financial Assistance said there are more opportunities to get a scholarship, but we should help our poor fellow students to get scholarships. Under no circumstances we avoid false information to get scholarships which would deprive a poor student.
He said that scholarships would be given by USAID for the female students of postgraduate degree program for academic year 2021, for which the academic performance of the students would be scrutinized.
On this occasion, Syed Noman Shah, Focal Person of the Scholarships, briefed the students on the modalities and opportunities of the scholarship.
