SAU holds prayer ceremony in memory of APS martyrs

In memory of the martyred children of the Army Public School Peshawar, a prayer  ceremony was held at Sindh Agriculture University (SAU), candles were lit and flowers were placed in front of the pictures of martyred students.

On the day of martyrdom of 147 students of Army Public School in Peshawar, a special prayer ceremony was organized in front of Dr. AM Sheikh Auditorium Hall of University, to express tribute to the martyred students.

Vice Chancellor SAU Dr. Fateh Marri, Faculty Deans Dr. Syed Ghiyasuddin Shah Rashdi, Dr. AIjaz Ali Khooharo, Dr. Jan Muhammad Marri, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ismail Kumbhar, Dr. Inayatullah Rajpar, Dr. Shahnawaz Marri, Dr. Manzoor Abro and a large number of teachers and students attended, where prayers were also offered for the martyred children.

Later a rally was also held, in which the children of Bukhari Model High School participated, the children of the school were holding various placards and pictures of the martyred students in their hands, as well as the students also sang “I have to teach the children of the enemy”.

Addressing to the relay Vice Chancellor, Dr. Fateh Marri said that the enemy of education is the enemy of the country and we will not allow the enemy to attack on education.

He said that the students of Sindh are also saddened on the APS incident, “The sacrifices of our children will not go in vain and we will work for our country with new determination and will defeat the enemies of education and the country with education,” he said. Prof. Dr. Ismail Kumbhar and students also addressed on the occasion.
