The School Education and Literacy Department through the Education Management Organizations has introduced modern education system that is a positive step towards the betterment of education in disadvantaged areas of the province.
These views expressed by the SELD Secretary Ahmed Bux Narejo in a statement issued after the opening ceremonies of three schools at different locations namely Cattle Colony, Damba Goth, and Yousif Goth. These schools would operate under EMOs in collaboration with USAID and Sindh government.
On the occasion, Dr. Shaikh Tanveer Ahmed said that HANDs—a nongovernment organization was struggling to strengthen the education system in disadvantaged areas of Sindh. Now we are going to give those modern facilities of education to the poorest areas of Sindh. Such educational faculties would reduce illiteracy in these localities.
HANDs chief executive administration Nadeem Wagan said our motive is to develop education systems in backward areas. There is no development without education. This is why HANDs is struggling to set up a modern system of education.
