A seminar themed as ‘The Way to Success Through Knowledge’ was held at the University of Okara. The event was organized by the Public Relations Department.

The renowned motivational speaker of Okara and the founder of Moralities, Ejaz Ali delivered a lecture to the students of Communication Studies, Political Science, International Relations and Psychology.

The in-charge communication studies Dr Zahid Bilal, in-charge political science Usman Shamim, in-charge international relations Fakhra Shahid and in-charge Psychology Zoya Yaqub were also present at the event. The Resident Officer Dr Shehzad Ahmed attended the seminar as chief guest.

The guest speaker, in the interactive session, discussed various ways and tips that could lead the youth to accomplish their dreams and goals. He also motivated the students to shun the negative behaviors and focus on identifying and manifesting their inherent skills.

He was of the view that there was no shortcut to success expect knowledge. He urged the students to adopt the habit of book reading. Quoting a recent survey, he revealed that the ratio of book reading in South Asian was less than one book per year while it was about 35 in the west.

Ejaz Ali argued that the road to success for the Muslim world was creating a perfect coherence between religion and logic as the Holy Quran had deeply focused on empirical knowledge and meditation. He also goaded the students to resort to research and innovation in their relevant fields and disciplines
