The Sindh government has made the academic data of all the universities, boards and institutes across the province online at an MIS portal. In this regard, a meeting on Universities and Boards was held under the chairmanship of Sindh University & Boards Minister Ismail Rahoo, in which Secretary Ministry of Universities and Boards Sindh Muhammad Mureed Rahmon and other officers participated.
Secretary University and Board Muhammad Mureed Rahmon while briefing the Provincial Minister Ismail Rahoo said that the system of universities and boards have been made online, and the web of teachers, employees and students will be available on the portal. Correspondence from all universities and boards is also possible through the portal, the Chief Minister of Sindh and the Chief Secretary will have direct access to the portal.
Minister for Universities Ismail Rahoo said that by Tuesday, the data of all the universities, boards and STEVTA across the province will be available on the portal. The data for the first 5 years will be made online in this system. Records of employees, officers and budgets of all universities and boards will also be available on the portal.
Ismail Rahoo said that records of students enrolled in all universities and boards will also be available, records of students from all over the province up to matriculation and PhD will be available on the portal, the secretary of universities will monitor this portal.
