The Mehran University of Engineering and Technology Jamshoro on Tuesday organized a seminar in collaboration with Sindh Rangers and Anti-Narcotics Force

A series of three security and drug seminars were organized at IBS Sukkur, Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical University Larkana. Sindh University Jamshoro, Liaquat University, Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur, Khairpur Medical College, Gambat Institute, Chand Medical, Asifa Dental College and others also participated in the series.

The purpose of the seminar was security issues, drug prevention measures in educational institutions, a Rangers spokesman said. The seminar was attended by DG Rangers Sindh Major General Iftikhar Hassan Chaudhry and DG Anti Narcotics Major General Ghulam Shabir Narejo.

The people also played an important role in restoring law and order in Karachi, said DG Rangers. The DG Anti-Narcotics Force briefed the students on the ANF’s initiatives .
