Smart classrooms can change Pakistan’s education sector, says Governor Sindh

Intelligent Summit 2021 can change the future of Pakistan while starting smart classrooms would be a revolutionary step in Pakistan’s education and IT industry.

These views were expressed by Governor Sindh Imran Ismail at the Huawei Pakistan Intelligent Education Summit 2021 organized by NED University in collaboration with Higher Education Commission and Huawei Pakistan.

Addressing the young students, the Governor said; “this summit can change the future of this region. Our young generation and their efforts are worthwhile”.

On this occasion, NED Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Soroush Hashmat Lodi said the computer is the second biggest invention in the world’s history. Through this summit, the concept of smart classrooms and virtual learning should be put into practice. Huawei is providing this technology for free to the students of NED University, for which the university is grateful to them.

MD Huawei said that our organization is transferring modern technology to Pakistan. It was aimed to reduce educational disruption during Covid-19 epidemic.

HEC Executive Director Dr. Shaista Sohail said that the commission was working with Huawei to further improve the online method of education. Also, Niaz Ali Shah Rukh, Account Director, Education Virtual Huawei Pakistan, Naveed Tahir, Director, HEC and Asad Arif, Director, IT highlighted the importance of smart classes.
