The Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC), Sindh Madressatul Islam University (SMIU) in collaboration with the Dr Essa Laboratory arranged a free Medical Camp on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at SMIU’s Medical Unit.

A large number of faculty, staff members and students benefitted from the free tests of COVID Booster Dose (Pfizer), Cholesterol, Diabetes, and Bone Mineral Density (BMD). The Laboratory also provided blood group tests at discounted rates.

Dr Aamir Iqbal Umrani, Director of ORIC, Sindh Madressatul Islam University said that the basic objective of the medical camp at SMIU was to support the faculty, staff and students in their health matters as these days’ health issues are increasing rapidly and the treatment is costly. That is why ORIC decided to arrange a free medical camp for SMIU and that practice will be continued over here.
