The Sindh Madressatul Islam University Teachers Association elected six cabinet members for the year 2021-22.

The associations held elections for the cabinet members. Around six candidates won the elections unopposed.

Earlier this week, the elections were announced by the election committee along with election TORs and SOPs. Despite ample time for filling the candidature, no one except the existing body with one change filled the form. Hence, the body remained unopposed.

Asif Hussain Samo was elected as president, Dr Abdul Hafeez Khan as general secretary, Muhammad Ameen Chhajro as vice president, Syed Azeem Inam as joint secretary, Quratulain Nazeer as finance secretary, and Wafa Mansoor Buriro as press secretary. Later on, the cabinet also announced the new executive council body for various faculties.
