Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology (SSUET) Karachi held the 20th Hajj Balloting for the employees to perform Hajj 2023 at University’s expense and 2 employees were declared successful for the Hajj pilgrimage.
The Hajj balloting 2023 ceremony was presided over by the Vice Chancellor SSUET Prof Dr Vali Uddin. According to the draws, Dr Syed Muzamil Shah (Associate Professor, Civil Engineering) and Ms Nazia Kanwal (Software Engineering) were declared eligible for the Hajj pilgrimage in 2023. Dr Shahina Noor and Security Guard Imran Sheikh have been kept in reserve.
Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Vali Uddin congratulated both lucky employees who were declared successful in the Hajj balloting 2023. He urged them to pray for the prosperity of the university, country and Muslim ummah during Hajj. Registrar Engr Syed Sarfraz Ali conducted the ceremony.
