A 14 member’s delegation comprising of student societies office bearers and representatives from six leading universities of the Punjab and Sindh would pay a one-week exploratory visit to Karachi from August 1-6, 2019. The delegation will include students from Islamia University Bahawalpur, Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan, the Punjab University Lahore, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Agriculture Multan, University of Education Lahore and Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur. The main purpose of the visit is to provide a platform to the university students for knowledge, experience and expertise sharing aimed at strengthening campus-based student societies.

During this tour, students will pay visit to leading higher education institutions of Karachi including Karachi University, IBA, HEJ, Iqra University, Sir Syed Engineering University, SZABIST Karachi, Sindh Medical University Karachi, Newport Institute of Communications and Economics Karachi, Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University Lyari, Dadabhoy Institute of Higher Education, Dewan University, where they will be interacting with the university management and representatives of student societies regarding exploring mutual areas of collaboration, effective functioning and sustainability of student societies, joint production and joint activities among the student societies. They would also chalk out joint strategy with the Karachi-based student societies for holding the 3rd edition of International Student Convention Expo successfully during the last week of October 2019 in Karachi. They will also attend the launching ceremony of International Students Convention and Expo on 6th August 2019 at Iqra University-Main Campus Karachi. All the arrangements related to the visit of the student delegation have been finalised.
