SU starts semester exams amid strict implementation of COVID-19 SOPs

Amid strict implementation of COVID-19 SOPs, the first semester examinations of all the batches of second, fourth and fifth year have started at Sindh University Jamshoro on Tuesday.

According to the SU spokesperson the Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Muhammad Siddique Kalhoro visited the campus and inspected the ongoing examination process in various departments. He expressed satisfaction over the implementation of coronavirus SOPs and preparation for the test.

The semester exams took place in a peaceful atmosphere and the seating arrangements for the students were made as per standard operating procedures in order to protect them from the possible hazard of coronavirus.

Dr. Kalhoro first went to the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), where he reviewed the ongoing exams and enquired about the papers from the students.

He was accompanied by Dean Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration Prof. Dr. Javed Ahmed Chandio, Director IBA Prof. Dr. Abdul Sattar Shah, Dr. Nizamuddin Channa and others. The VC later visited the Institute of Microbiology and inspected the ongoing examinations there as well. He went through the various examination halls set up in the classrooms.

He on the occasion directed the concerned heads of departments to provide all the basic facilities to the students taking the test including cold drinking water. He said that he was elated to experience the all-out implementation of COVID-19 SOPs by the students.
