SU to commence PhD classes, conducts interviews for scholarship

The University of Sind has announced to commence PhD classes for the academic year 2021 at the Department of Comparative Religions and Islamic Culture from November 3, 2021.

According to the Chairperson of Department of Comparative Religions and Islamic Culture, Dr. Naheed Arain announced the start of PhD (Islamic Culture and Comparative Religion) course work for the academic year 2021 from tomorrow (November 3) in the department.

A timetable has also been issued in this regard advising all the scholars to attend the PhD course work classes.

Meanwhile, a meeting of the Higher Education Commission Need Based Scholarship Committee was held under the chair of the Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Muhammad Siddique Kalhoro at the Secretariat of Advisor Planning and Development Cell.

The committee decided to conduct the interviews of the students of academic year 2019 and 2020 who have applied for the scholarships from November 9 to 17, 2021.

The house decided to conduct students of those students who applied for the slots at Benazir Bhutto Convention Center, University of Sindh.

The meeting was attended by the Director Students’ Financial Aid Office Dr. Mushtaq Ahmed Jariko, Dr. Muhammad Khan Sangi, Hameedullah Dahri, Faisal Haider Shah, Qamar Nangraj and other members.
