In a landmark move, the University of Swat (USwat) has officially joined the largest network of Pakistani universities and the Students Societies Network by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Inter University Consortium for Promotion of Social Sciences Pakistan (IUCPSS). The signing ceremony, held at the University of Swat, marked a significant step towards fostering collaboration and promoting the values of responsible citizenship, peace, and co-existence among students.

The MOU was signed by Prof Dr Hassan Sher, Vice Chancellor of the University of Swat, and Muhammad Murtaza Noor, National Coordinator of IUCPSS Pakistan. This partnership signifies a commitment to working together on various activities aimed at the effective engagement of students.

Speaking at the ceremony, Prof Dr Hassan Sher expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, highlighting the importance of such initiatives in nurturing a peaceful and tolerant campus environment. “Joining the IUCPSS network will open up numerous opportunities for our students to engage in meaningful activities that promote peace and co-existence. We are excited to work closely with IUCPSS to realize these goals,” he said.
