The administration of the Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto University of Law on Tuesday appointed three retired military officers on six-month contractual to various positions including registrar, security officer, and director admin.
According to the notification issued by the SZABUL Acting Registrar Muhammad Shamim Ahmed, after approval of the vice-chancellor, Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) Fazal Illahi Khan has been appointed a director admin against the vacant position of BPS 20 on an Adhoc basis for the period of six months.
The varsity fixed his monthly according to the grade20 scale along with all admissible allowances and other facilities as per entitlement of the said post defined in the university code. However, the varsity asked Khan to accept the offer of an appointment order within one week.
In a separate notification, the varsity appointed Major (retired) Arshad Riaz Mughal against the vacant position of security officer BPS 18. Mughal will also enjoy the incentives and payment of the grade 18 officers during his six-month contractual services at the SZABUL.
Likewise, Brigadier (retired) Kamran Jalil was appointed in BPS 20 against the post of the registrar at SZABUL. During his six-month period of contractual, Brig Jalil will be entitled to avail all allowances and incentives, and facilities.
However, the VC has appointed Abdul Aziz Kehar as director of planning and development on a six- month contractual basis in BPS in BPS 19.
