In a remarkable ceremony held at GCT Railway Road, Lahore, the Chairman of the Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA), Brig (R) Muhammad Sajid Khokhar, SI(M), honored the achievements of the successful participants of the Chinese Language Program (HSK Level-I). The event celebrated the dedication and hard work of 236 students who excelled in the final exam after completing online classes.

The Chinese Language Program, organized under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between TEVTA and TANG China International, aims to foster cooperation and promote cultural, educational, and technological exchange between Pakistan and China. The program was delivered across 11 Government College of Technology (GCT) campuses, where experienced Chinese instructors conducted the classes.

Brig. Muhammad Sajid Khokhar distributed certificates to the pass-outs during the event. He praised the students for their commitment and emphasized the importance of learning the Chinese language in the current global context. “This program not only equips our students with valuable language skills but also strengthens the bond between Pakistan and China,” he remarked.

Students from GCT Railway Road were present at the ceremony, while their peers from the other 10 institutes participated virtually. The ceremony was further graced by representatives from TANG China International, underscoring the robust partnership and shared vision of the two organizations.

One of the students expressed her excitement, saying, “Learning Chinese has opened up new avenues for us. We are grateful to TEVTA and TANG China International for providing this opportunity.”

The event concluded with a message of continued cooperation and future endeavors to enhance the educational and cultural ties between Pakistan and China.
