TNS Beaconhouse, in partnership with the Institute of Architects of Pakistan (IAP), recently hosted an event called “Blueprint for Learning: Bridging Design and Pedagogy” at the newly opened TNS Beaconhouse Gulberg campus.
The event centered on the vital role of innovative school design in enriching student learning experiences. Attendees included architects, architecture students, and educators.
Kasim Kasuri, CEO of Beaconhouse School System, and Rosan Bosch, founder and creative director of Rosan Bosch Studio and principal architect of TNS Beaconhouse Gulberg, led the event with keynote speeches highlighting how architectural design intersects with teaching and learning, fostering environments conducive to creative problem-solving, critical thinking, and collaborative learning.
A thought-provoking panel discussion further underscored the importance of integrating innovative architecture with education, shedding light on insights into how such integrations can enhance the learning process, emphasizing the necessity for adaptable spaces to meet educational needs.
Participants from the IAP were also treated to a guided tour of the iconic TNS Gulberg campus, showcasing its innovative approach to school design, prioritizing spaces and experiences that encourage learner agency.
Reflecting on the occasion, Kasim Kasuri remarked, “At TNS Beaconhouse, our commitment extends beyond education to creating environments that inspire and challenge our students. Collaborations like this are crucial in reimagining how space can empower our learners.”
This collaboration between Beaconhouse and IAP not only underscores the impact of architectural design on educational outcomes but also establishes a benchmark for future initiatives in educational infrastructure.
