Two schools including an LGS branch sealed for holding exams

LAHORE: The district administration has sealed two private schools including Lahore Grammar School (LGS) Defense Housing Authority (DHA) Phase 8 branch for not following the government’s orders of closure of school due to COVID-19 third wave.
According to details, Assistant Commissioner Lahore Cantonment Zeeshan Nasrullah raided the branches of LGS in DHA Phase 8 and campus of Colegio Del Mundo World School Ecole Du Monde. He sealed both schools for not following the government’s order of closing schools and conducting exams.

As per the official press release, officials of the Pakistan Army were also accompanying Assistant Commissioner.
The government has announced to close all educational institutions till Eid ul Fitr. The exams across the country were also postponed after increasing cases of Covid patients during the third wave. The announcement was made after the meeting of the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC).
