The University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (UAJK) hosted the second day of its Allied Health Sciences Expo 2024, a dynamic event aimed at equipping students with the tools and knowledge to navigate their career paths successfully. Organized by the Allied Health Society of UAJK in collaboration with the Pakistan Army, the day featured thought-provoking sessions, cultural showcases, and interactive workshops.

Addressing an eager audience, Naqvi underscored the role of resumes in career advancement, calling them a “gateway to professional success.” He provided actionable insights on tailoring resumes to industry standards, highlighting achievements, and structuring them to make impactful first impressions on employers.
“Your resume reflects your potential. It’s not merely a document but a ticket to unlocking professional opportunities,” said Naqvi, inspiring students to take their job applications seriously.
The day also included an inspiring talk by Syed Raza Ali Kazmi, Additional Secretary at the Presidential Secretariat, who motivated students to embrace perseverance and self-belief. “Today’s students will shape tomorrow’s Pakistan,” Kazmi remarked, emphasizing the importance of consistency and confidence in achieving professional and national progress.
Another notable session was delivered by Ijlal Haider Naqvi, Managing Director of Career Advisers, who shared valuable insights into scholarship opportunities and career planning. He encouraged students to harness educational resources to further their academic and professional aspirations.
The Expo also celebrated the diverse cultures of Pakistan. Students from Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and all four provinces presented their regional traditions through vibrant displays of traditional clothing, local delicacies, and innovative health sciences projects.
Research presentations by health sciences scholars and interactive faculty-led Q&A sessions added academic depth to the event, engaging participants in discussions about the future of the health sciences field.
To honor their contributions, organizers presented commemorative shields to guest speakers. The UAJK Allied Health Sciences Expo 2024 continues to be a beacon of opportunity, fostering academic excellence, cultural exchange, and professional growth for students across the country.
