The result of the combined Entrance Test (ECAT 2023) of the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore, which is mandatory for admissions in BSc Engineering and BSc Engineering Technology programs of all public and private sector engineering institutions of Punjab, has been announced.
The result is available on the University of Engineering and Technology admission portal. Candidates can download their results by entering their roll number and CNIC. The maximum possible score in the Entrance Test is 400 and Mr Malik Hanzala Sajjad secured first position by getting 384 marks, whereas Mr Mohammad Ibraheem Qureshi secured 2nd position with 375 marks and Mr Muhammad Abubakar Siddique Farooqi got 3rd position with 359 marks.
The entrance test for admission to public and private engineering universities across Punjab including UET and its sub-campuses started on Monday, March 13, 2023 and continued till Thursday, March 16, 2023 in 10 centers across Punjab.
Candidates who do not appear in the entrance test will not be eligible for admission in the Pakistan Engineering Council’s (PEC) approved undergraduate programs of UET in the autumn session commencing on 4th September 2023.
UET this year changed the schedules for the Entry test of admissions in engineering programs and started the test much before the result of FSc.
