At the ceremony. three female students won 15 gold medals while one male student won 4 gold medals. Sadaf Munir won 6 gold medals and Ayesha Khalid won 5 gold medals. Similarly, Arshma Hasnain and Hamza Siddique won 4, 4 gold medals.
In this convocation degrees were distributed among 2,929 students. 2,246 graduates, 651 MS / M. Phil, 32 PhD degrees and 61 gold medals were distributed among students. Degrees were awarded in UET main and sub-campuses of UET followed by the number of 2021 degrees in UET Lahore main campus, 423 in New Campus (UET-KSK), 216 degrees in UET Faisalabad (UET-FSD) campus, 141 degrees in Rachna College of Engineering and Technology (UET-RCET), and 128 degrees in UET Narowal (UET-NWL) campus.

The convocation was presided over by Governor Punjab and Chancellor UET Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar. Vice Chancellor UET Prof. Dr. Syed Mansoor Sarwar delivered welcome address in which he described the achievements, gained in the field of research and academia, as well as future plans and goals. He said that UET graduates are an asset of Pakistan to build the country and their role in the development of Pakistan is significant. He congratulated the successful students and said that all this is the result of hard work of your parents and teachers. Always respect your parents and teachers. In his welcome address, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Syed Mansoor Sarwar congratulated the students on the successful completion of 100 years of the University. He said that the UET has completed a century of its journey. This 100-year journey is full of success, progress, inventions, and new ideas.

Addressing the students, Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar appreciated Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Syed Mansoor Sarwar and his team on continuous improvement in the international and Asia rankings of UET in the last three years. He further said that the country is strengthened only by the rule of law and constitution and giving rights to the rightful claimants. After the success of Pakistani women, quotas for boys’ jobs may have to be allocated in the coming years. He appealed graduating students to cooperate with the government for sustainable measures to tackle important issues like poverty, water crisis, environmental pollution and natural calamities. He also announced a prize of Rs. 100,000 and Rs. 50,000 for the four students respectively. Prize money will be given to these students and their teachers by inviting them to the Governor House. The Governor of Punjab planted a tree on the 100 years anniversary of the University and also inaugurated a commemorative plaque.

At the end of convocation Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Mansoor Sarwar presented souvenirs to the honorable guest Governor Punjab and Chancellor of University Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar.
