The department of Product and Industrial Design (PID), University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore invited the guest industrial expert Muhammad Moeen Sultan, Assistant Professor Mechanical Engineering Dept, UET for an industrial lecture on Arduino sensors.
In this lecture, he shared his expertise in Arduino basics, circuit and program development, and integrating different sensors and actuators as per project requirements. The lecture will help the students of session 2020 PID UET to automate the different product design prototypes to excel in and revolutionize the product design industry.
At the end of the session, Moeen delivered positive student-teacher engagement by answering the questions of the students regarding the project assignment. The speaker ended his lecture with thanks to the Chairman of the Product & Industrial Design Department Dr Atif Bilal Aslam and the Lecture Organizers Ms Anum Shamshad & Ms Ayesha Hameed for inviting him to the department and encouraging such initiatives of industrial collaborations taken by them.
While addressing on occasion Dr Atif Bilal Aslam said that the lecture was part of providing students exposure to industrial work. He added that students should not only remain focused on curriculum, textbooks and theoretical work, they need to interact with the people working in the industry. The session with Moeen provided students with an overview of the industry which would help them shape their mindset as per the requirements of the industry, he further added.
