The Finance & Planning Committee of the University of Home Economics (UHE) Lahore recommended up to a 30% tuition fee concession for the sisters & daughters of employees.

It was approved in the 10th meeting of the Finance & Planning Committee which was held under the convenorship of Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Kanwal Ameen at the University. The F&PC UHE approved a 30% fee concession from BPS 01 to BPS 16 and a 20% fee concession for BPS 17 to onwards employees.

The F&PC approved the income and budget estimates for the FY 2022-2023 along with the fee structure of the Intermediate (Home Economics) program. It is pertinent to mention that F&PC recommended offering free-of-cost education to physically challenged students i.e.; Blind, Deaf, Dumb.

The Finance & Planning Committee also approved the grant of honorarium, and adoption of notification of Govt of Punjab for placement of funds & investments. The Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Kanwal Ameen briefed the members of F&PC that the new financial policy will help to attract more students to take admissions. She was of the view that “UHE believes inclusive education for women; the primary objective of a new policy to manage university finances effectively”.

The F&PC meeting was attended by director budget HEC Samina Durrani, Additional Secretary HED Shahid Zaman Lak, Malik M Rizwan (PHEC), Deputy Secretary Finance Govt of Punjab Arif Niazi, Additional Registrar Rozeena Sadiq and Additional Treasurer UHE Muhammad Kashif.
