Lahore: University of Education (UE), Lahore is going to celebrate its 20th anniversary on Friday, October 21, 2022.

This will be the first mega event of its kind in the history of the University, in which various programs will be organized.

On the occasion of the anniversary, UEIANS Alumni get together and a general body election will be conducted. Moreover, Launching of Book, 20 Years of Excellence: A Legacy of 142 Years of Teacher Education ‘ and oath taking by the newly elected UEIANS Alumni office bearers will also be held.

Former Governor of the Punjab and Founding Chancellor of University of Education, Lahore Lieutenant General (retd.) Khalid Maqbool will be the Chief Guest and former Minister of Education Mian Imran Masood Guest of Honor for the celebrations of the 20th anniversary of university while the Vice Chancellor, University of Education, Lahore Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha (S.I.) will host the mega event.

The University of Education was established in 2002 as the highest seat of learning in teacher education with clear goals and objectives of producing quality teachers of international standards. Among other related objectives set before the UE, some are to bring quality change in education focusing on teacher education, promote governance, leadership and management skills among educational managers, promote teaching and learning innovations, develop human resource for educational institutions and other areas of high social and economic need and establish linkages with national and international educational institutions and the society.
