University students push for #onlineexamsonly on Twitter

Students of various universities are campaigning on social networking website Twitter with a trend #online_exams_only to press their demands in front of authorities to consider online examinations instead of on-campus papers.

Twitter user Salman Zia said, “Air University is going to conduct on campus papers despite the corona situation. I am a university student and I know how SOPs are followed in university. So, please stop them from playing with our lives.”

Talha Afzal Kohistani tweeted, “Exams should be conducted online. Conducting classes online and then the exams on campus is totally out of sense.”

Mian Affan Anwar tweeted, “Inter students are stressed because of the announcement of physical exams after online education. Everyone knows the standard of online education yet students are expected to learn 8 to 9 chapters back to back.”

Students on social networking websites demanded from Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood to announce a policy for conducting online examination instead of examinations on-campus.
