UVAS Organizes Tahaffuz-e-Namoos-e-Risalat Walk & Seminar

The Qiraat & Naat Society of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS), Lahore, organized a walk and seminar at the City Campus to mark Yom-e-Tahaffuz-e-Namoos-e-Risalat (PBUH) with great reverence and devotion.

UVAS Vice-Chancellor, Meritorious Professor Dr Muhammad Younus (DLA.I, T.I), led the walk, accompanied by deans, directors, chairpersons, faculty members, administrative staff, and a large number of students from various departments. Participants demonstrated their unwavering faith and commitment to preserving the honor and dignity of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

Following the walk, a seminar was held, where Professor Dr Muhammad Arshad Naqshbandi from Islamia College Railway Road served as the guest speaker. In his address, he emphasized that safeguarding the honor of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is not just a responsibility but a sacred duty for every Muslim. He also highlighted the crucial role of social media platforms in countering Islamophobia, urging them to take accountability for preventing the spread of hateful content and ensuring the removal of harmful material.

The seminar reinforced that the honor and dignity of the Last Prophet, Muhammad Mustafa (PBUH), are fundamental to the faith of every Muslim. Participants expressed their deep religious passion and dedication to upholding this sacred trust.

Similar events, including walks and seminars, were also organized with religious fervor at all UVAS campuses, including Ravi Campus Pattoki, CVAS Jhang, KBCMA CVAS-Narowal, and the Para-Veterinary Institute Karor Lal Eason Layyah. These activities reflected the university community’s collective devotion and commitment to the cause.

The event concluded with prayers and reflections, strengthening the resolve of participants to uphold the sanctity of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) with unwavering faith and conviction.
