Varsities in KP, Sindh, Islamabad postpone exams, suspend routine classes

ISLAMABAD/KARACHI/PESHAWAR: The Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) announced that it has cancelled all graduate and post-graduate exams amid uptick of coronavirus cases.

The university said in a statement issued that varsity would now announce a new schedule for the exams after Eidul Fitr.

Special Assistant to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister, Kamran Bangash also said that there would be online classes only at universities in province.

In Sindh, Dawood University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi has also postponed exams.

According to the notification issued by Dawood University Registrar Syed Asif Ali Shah, the varsity will close till mid-May, 2021.
