Vice Chancellor, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB), Engr Prof Dr Athar Mahboob inaugurated campus TV studio equipped with modern facilities in the Department of Media Studies.

On this occasion, Chairman Department of Media Studies Prof Dr Abdul Wajid Khan, Controller of Examinations Prof Dr Sajjad Ahmed Pracha, Director TV and Broadcast Prof Dr Rana Shahzad, Director Campus TV and Digital Media Studio Prof Dr Rao Muhammad Shahid, Assistant Professor Dr Jam Sajjad Hussain, Director Press Media and Publications, Shahzad Ahmed Khalid, teachers and students were present.

The Vice-Chancellor said that the Department of Media Studies has a special place in Pakistan and a large number of students who graduated from it are serving at the national and international level. Practical Training of students is very important. He said that the university already has FM 92.6 campus radio and now the students will get practical training through campus TV and also highlight the activities of the university.
