Visit of Participants of 30th Senior Management Course of NIM to Sindh Education Foundation

The National Institute of Management (NIM), Karachi is conducting the 30th Senior Management Course (SMC) for Government Officers in BPS-19 from across Pakistan.

Local visits are an integral part of the training programme and under this strand the participants call on senior functionaries and the heads of the provincial government departments for providing them with an opportunity to receive first-hand information about the functioning of these departments.

In this background, thirty five participants, presently serving in Federal and Provincial Governments and autonomous corporations, along with the faculty members & Chief Instructor lead by Dr. Lubna Ayub visited Sindh Education Foundation Head Office at NICL building, Karachi to discuss the education portfolio of SEF.

The Managing Director SEF, Mr. Abdul Kabir Kazi and the Deputy Managing Directors Ms. Sadaf Anees Sheikh and Mr. Naeem Anwar welcomed the participants, the faculty members and the DG NIM at the new Head Office of SEF at NICL Building. A detailed presentation on SEF’s institutional framework, the portfolio and quality interventions followed by a Q&A session was held which was led by the Managing Director SEF himself. The participants had their queries well addressed and at the end the DG NIM Dr. Lubna Ayub thanked the SEF Management and appreciated the work of the Foundation
