RAICES LIMITED provides cutting edge discussions through its WING Programme to discuss the root causes that hold back a diverse and inclusive workforce, by bringing together world education stakeholders to explore and share ideas, and to collaborate toward creative action in education for girls.

At Raices, teachers, decision makers, and influential experts from all fields of public and private sectors gather to discuss and harness their experience in addressing global educational challenges. The WING Programme is an international, multi-sector summit and awards dedicated to building the future of education through empowerment, partnership and recognition.

The Summit will benefit from top keynote and special addresses, interactive panel discussions, inspirational stories, dynamic round-table discussions, as well as a photo exhibition on child marriage. The WING Awards celebrates the ingenuity of individuals striving to combat the barriers faced by millions of girls accessing an education. The awards recognises company education initiatives, and exceptional role-models.

The WING Programme is a unique and diverse community which engages in important debates, addressing a full range of pressures faced by girls. We are committed at setting the foundations to support tomorrows female leaders.

 

The Summit

The WING Summit, scheduled to be held in September 2019 in Stockholm, Sweden, is currently open for registrations. However, the nominations for the WING Awards will open on January 31, 2019.The awards will recognise excellent education initiatives at an evening that puts the spotlight on exceptional role-models and innovators who are an inspiration to our next generation.

The summit will have four interactive sessions on various issues affecting youth and their education and future. Some of these discussion topics will be How can Education for Girls Lead to Greater Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace, Youth Boom and Innovation and Unlocking Student Talent Through Technology. While the summit will initiate debate by international academics, experts and journalists on key issues, through the awards RAICES will aim to showcase the phenomenal impact education initiatives are having on students around the world. The organization is looking for stories of achievers in all fields, inspirational role-models and business initiatives that are striving to make a difference.

So whether you are a business, educational institution or organization, or an individual who believes the work they have done has helped the cause of education or gender equality in any part of the world, the WING Awards are the place to let the world know of your story.

The Awards are expected to get a huge number of nominations from across the world, and only six nominations in each category will be shortlisted for a shot at the final prize. All shortlisted candidates/organizations will be invited to the Summit where they will get to showcase their work through a short video/presentation on their achievements.

So hurry up if you wish to receive international recognition for the good work you have done to further the cause of education in your country, city, village or community. WING Awards will be a mega opportunity to not only meet other motivated individuals who are dedicated to education around the world, but also an unmatched chance to meet international educational and policy experts and forge mutually beneficial relationships.
