Wrestling competitions will start on Monday at SAU

Wrestling competitions will start on Monday at Sindh Agriculture University (SAU), “Wrestling training camp” has also started in collaboration with Higher Education Commission and is hosted by Sindh Agricultural University.

Wrestling competitions of Talent Hunt Youth Sports League Sindh Region organized by Sindh Agriculture University Tandojam, in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission will start on Monday 13th June. In this regard, a wrestling training camp has started in the sports complex of the University, and wrestlers from Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Jacobabad, and Shaheed Benazirabad are participating in Competitions.

National coaches Muhammad Hussain and Iqbal Ahmed are providing training services for this wrestling event, in which many wrestlers of the province will compete in different categories

The wrestling event will be inaugurated by Vice-Chancellor Dr Fateh Marri, Secretary Sports, Government of Sindh Akhtar Inayat Bhurgri, Divisional Commissioner Hyderabad Nadeem-ur-Rehman Memon, and Wing Commander Pakistan Rangers Col Salman.

The wrestlers who won gold and silver medals from these competitions will be included in the team of Sindh province, which will later participate in national level competitions, which is the highest ever sports competition organized by the Higher Education Commission.

According to Anwar Hussain Khanzada, Secretary, Talent Hunt Youth Sports League, Sindh Region, preparations for the competitions have been completed, and the ongoing training session of the players is in full swing
