The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore has officially released the schedule for its first Combined Entrance Test for 2026, marking a crucial step for students seeking undergraduate admissions in the upcoming fall session.
According to UET spokesperson Rana Tanveer Qasim, the computer-based examination will be conducted from March 30 to April 2 across multiple sessions. The test will take place at various centers, including the main campus of University of Engineering and Technology Lahore, its sub-campuses, and several affiliated institutions.
Around 18,500 candidates are expected to appear for the entrance test, reflecting strong competition for engineering programs. Each session will last 100 minutes, with candidates assessed through a fully digital testing system designed to streamline the evaluation process.
To ensure students are comfortable with the computer-based format, a mock test is being held ahead of the official examination at designated centers. This initiative aims to help applicants familiarize themselves with the testing interface and reduce exam-day anxiety.
The entrance test will be conducted at a wide network of institutions, including University of Engineering and Technology Lahore Faisalabad Campus, University of Engineering and Technology Lahore Narowal Campus, Rachna College of Engineering and Technology, Khawaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology, University of Engineering and Technology Taxila, University of Gujrat, Bahauddin Zakariya University, Islamia University of Bahawalpur Baghdad-ul-Jadeed Campus, and NFC Institute of Engineering and Technology Multan.
