In a decisive move to address declining academic standards, the Workers Welfare Board of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has suspended nineteen school principals after poor Matriculation results were reported. The action, announced through a notification on Monday, includes the suspension of fifteen male and four female principals from schools in Akora Khattak, Aman Garh, Ghouriwala, Haripur, Hattar, Karak, Kohat, Peshawar, Shehbaz Azamat Khel, Swabi, and Swat.
The Board has held the suspended principals directly responsible for the substandard outcomes, signaling a zero-tolerance stance on weak academic performance. To ensure that teaching and administrative activities are not disrupted, the responsibilities of the suspended principals have been assigned to senior staff members and vice principals at their respective institutions.
