Molana Dr Raghib Hussain Naeemi, Chairman of the Council of Islamic Ideology (CII), has recommended extending the scholarship and laptop scheme to schools. Speaking at Jamia Naeemia’s annual ceremony, he underscored the enduring relevance of the Quran and Sunnah in guiding humanity and highlighted the vital role of religious education in shaping scholars who encourage Muslims to focus on their spiritual well-being.
Dr Naeemi shared that over 200 students received excellence awards and prizes during the event, with more than 70 honored with medals. This year, Jamia Naeemia has conferred degrees on 67 scholars, 10 muftis, 47 Quran reciters, and 50 Quran memorizers.
He stressed the pivotal role scholars play in combating social evils and empowering youth through their teachings. Acknowledging the contributions of schools to Islamic society, he emphasized their historical and societal importance, advocating for their inclusion in initiatives like the scholarship and laptop program.
