CM Afridi Unveils Major Education Reforms in KP

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi has announced free higher education for orphan students who pass the MDCAT examination, along with a province-wide internship program for Bachelor’s and Master’s degree holders.

Speaking at a ceremony at Frontier Women College, the Chief Minister unveiled several new education-focused initiatives aimed at empowering youth, especially women and orphans. Among these is the Insaf Female Education Card, under which around 55,000 female students will receive free higher education, ensuring that financial barriers do not hinder their academic aspirations.

The Chief Minister reaffirmed his government’s commitment to equitable education, stressing that education is the foundation of development and progress. He also directed relevant departments to implement an internship program designed to provide practical experience to graduates and bridge the gap between academic learning and the professional world.
