Delegation from NIM Peshawar Visits UAJK, Praises Contributions to Education

A delegation from the Senior Management Course (SMC) at the National Institute of Management (NIM) Peshawar visited the University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (UAJK) to strengthen academic ties and exchange ideas on quality education and institutional development.

The delegation was warmly welcomed by Prof Dr Saadat Hanif Dar, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Director of the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC), along with Public Relations Officer Dr Mubashar Naqvi.

Prof Dr Saadat Hanif Dar provided an in-depth presentation on UAJK’s significant milestones, innovative projects, and its commitment to advancing quality education in the region. Dr Mubashar Naqvi moderated the interactive session, facilitating a robust exchange of ideas as delegates posed insightful questions about the university’s initiatives.

The delegation commended UAJK for its exceptional contributions to academic excellence, research innovation, and community service. They highlighted the university’s transformative role in shaping the intellectual and professional landscape of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

In a gesture of goodwill, both institutions exchanged souvenirs to mark the occasion. The delegation then visited the Monument of the Martyrs to honor the students, faculty, and staff who lost their lives in the devastating 2005 earthquake. They offered Fatiha for the departed souls and praised UAJK’s efforts in preserving their memory.

The group also toured the Lincoln Corner and the advanced laboratories of the Health and Allied Sciences Department. Dr Junaid Mir, Head of the Department, briefed the visitors about the cutting-edge facilities and their role in fostering academic and research excellence.

The visit concluded with a shared commitment to strengthening collaboration between NIM Peshawar and UAJK. The delegation expressed hope for continued partnerships and lauded UAJK as a model institution for higher education and innovation.

This visit underscored UAJK’s dedication to serving as a beacon of education and progress in the region while fostering meaningful relationships with institutions across the country.
