In a remarkable academic collaboration, the University of Sahiwal welcomed the esteemed Prof Dr Khalijah Awang from the University of Malaya, Malaysia, for a keynote lecture on groundbreaking research in natural products. The lecture, titled “Natural Products Research Strategies and Recent Findings from Malayan Flora,” shed light on innovative methodologies and the scientific potential of Malaysia’s rich biodiversity.
Organized by the Department of Chemistry in collaboration with the Directorate of ORIC (Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization) at the University of Sahiwal, the event marked a significant step in fostering international partnerships in education and research.
Prof Dr Awang, a renowned researcher in phytochemistry, captivated the audience with her insights into the therapeutic and commercial potential of natural products derived from tropical flora.
