Dr Ramzan Gujjar has stepped down as Vice Chancellor of Emerson University Multan (EUM), following the circulation of videos allegedly showing inappropriate conduct.
The incident triggered a storm of criticism across academic circles and reignited protests on campus. The controversy is linked to longstanding allegations of an improper relationship with a colleague, who later released a public statement addressing the matter.
Reports indicate that demonstrations against Dr Gujjar had been ongoing for the past two years, with students and faculty voicing concerns over his conduct and leadership.
