The Law Admission Test remains a mandatory requirement for candidates aiming to secure admission in undergraduate law degrees, ensuring a standardized evaluation process nationwide. Students who have completed their Higher Secondary School Certificate or equivalent Grade 12 education, including those awaiting results, are eligible to apply under the announced schedule.
According to the details released, the remaining three LAT exams for 2026 will be conducted in phases. The third LAT is scheduled for June 21, with the registration deadline closing on May 25, while results are expected on August 3. The fourth LAT will take place on September 6, with registrations ending on August 10 and results to be announced on October 16. The fifth and final LAT of the year will be held on November 15, with October 20 as the last date to apply and results scheduled for December 24.
The LAT is structured to evaluate candidates through a combination of essay writing, a personal statement, and multiple-choice questions covering English, general knowledge, Islamic studies, Pakistan studies, Urdu, and basic mathematics. The test carries a total of 100 marks, and candidates must secure at least 50 marks to pass.
Officials emphasized that candidates must bring original identification documents, including CNIC, passport, or B-form, along with their academic credentials on the day of the examination to gain entry to test centers.
