HGovernment College University Faisalabad (GCUF) has signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Allah Walay Trust (AWT) to provide financial assistance to deserving undergraduate students across multiple disciplines.
The agreement covers students enrolled in B.E. Technology Engineering, BS Food Science, Nutrition and Dietetics, Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), Operation Theatre Technology (OTT), and Software Engineering programs.
The MoU signing ceremony took place at the Allah Walay Trust head office in Lahore, where Prof Dr Rauf-i-Azam, Vice Chancellor GCUF, and Mr Shahid Lone, Chairman Allah Walay Trust, formally inked the partnership. The event was attended by Miss Saima Perveen, Incharge Financial Aid Office GCUF, Prof Dr Khalid Manzoor Butt, Director Scholarship Program Allah Walay Trust, Mrs Shahid Lone, along with distinguished guests and dignitaries.
Speaking on the occasion, Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Rauf-i-Azam expressed heartfelt gratitude to Allah Walay Trust for its generous support. He highlighted that the collaboration would allow talented but financially challenged students to continue their education without obstacles. He emphasized that empowering youth through education is the cornerstone of building a prosperous Pakistan.
Mr Shahid Lone also reiterated the Trust’s commitment to uplifting underprivileged students, stressing that education is the most sustainable way to bring positive change in society.
