Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF) and Qarshi Foundation have entered into a strategic partnership to promote natural and herbal healthcare by establishing Qarshi Clinics of Natural Medicine at GCUF’s Old Campus.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Prof Dr Rauf-I-Azam, Vice Chancellor of GCUF, and Mr Adeel Saeed Mir, Chief Executive Officer of Qarshi Foundation. Under the agreement, Qarshi Foundation will establish clinics to offer free healthcare services for university students and employees, focusing on natural and herbal treatment methods.
The Foundation will also work towards setting up medical campuses in remote areas of the Faisalabad district to extend the reach of natural medicine. A Qarshi Clinic is already operational at GCUF’s New Campus health care center, where Hakim Muhammad Bota provides free medical consultations and treatment.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Prof Dr Rauf-I-Azam praised the initiative, emphasizing that the collaboration will not only benefit the GCUF community but also raise awareness about the role of traditional and natural medicine in promoting overall well-being.
