HEC Begins Final Phase of PM Youth Laptop Scheme

The Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan has formally commenced the distribution phase of the Prime Minister’s Youth Laptop Scheme, announcing that laptops have been successfully dispatched to universities across Pakistan, marking a significant step toward promoting digital learning among students.

In an official communication issued to selected candidates, the commission confirmed that all devices have reached their respective higher education institutions. Students who have qualified under the merit-based program have been instructed to visit their campuses, complete the required documentation, and collect their laptops from designated focal persons.

Officials stated that the initiative has now entered its final stage at the institutional level, where universities are fully prepared to oversee the distribution process. The scheme, aimed at empowering students through access to technology, awards laptops to eligible candidates based on academic performance.
