Indonesian Pavilion Steals Spotlight at 21st My Karachi Expo

The Indonesian pavilion emerged as one of the most prominent attractions at the 21st My Karachi: Oasis of Harmony exhibition, drawing large crowds and sparking strong interest in trade, education, and cultural exchange with Indonesia. The three-day event concluded on Sunday at the Expo Centre Karachi.

Organized by the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) from February 6 to 8, the exhibition featured active facilitation by the Consulate General of Indonesia in Karachi, which played a central role in curating and managing the pavilion. Designed as a comprehensive promotional platform, the pavilion attracted entrepreneurs, students, professionals, and members of the general public.

Business visitors engaged closely with representatives to explore Indonesia’s key export products and discuss prospects for partnerships, distributorships, and market access in Pakistan. The displays highlighted Indonesia’s diversified manufacturing base and its growing focus on strengthening bilateral trade ties.

The pavilion also witnessed keen interest from students and young professionals, many of whom sought information on scholarship opportunities, higher education pathways, and academic collaboration with Indonesian universities. Alongside education, the pavilion showcased initiatives aimed at enhancing cultural exchange and people-to-people connectivity between the two countries.

Adding to its appeal, the pavilion hosted interactive quizzes with prizes on all three days, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere for visitors.
