Islamabad Set to Welcome Thousands at ISCE 2026

Islamabad will become a hub of academic, cultural, and industrial activity next month as it prepares to host the 6th International Students Convention and Expo from May 3 to May 6, 2026. The four-day gathering is expected to draw more than 30,000 students alongside representatives from over 100 universities, educational institutions, and corporate organizations from across Pakistan and abroad.

Organizers say the convention has evolved into one of the country’s largest student-led platforms, building on the success of previous editions held in Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Northern Sindh, and Faisalabad. This year’s event gains additional significance through the collaboration of the Higher Education Commission (HEC), COMSTECH, and other leading institutions, reinforcing its academic credibility and international outreach.

The event will feature a diverse lineup of activities designed to engage students across disciplines. More than 35 competitions will offer participants opportunities to demonstrate their academic skills, creativity, and innovation. Indoor sports competitions are also planned to foster teamwork and healthy competition among students from different institutions.

A major highlight of the convention will be the innovation and industrial pavilions, where emerging technologies, research initiatives, and entrepreneurial ventures will be showcased. These spaces aim to bridge the gap between academia and industry by encouraging collaboration and knowledge exchange. The education expo will further support students by providing access to information on admissions, scholarships, and academic programs offered by leading institutions.

Cultural showcases and interactive sessions will add another dimension to the event, celebrating Pakistan’s diversity while promoting unity and cross-cultural understanding among participants from various regions and countries. These segments are expected to create an inclusive environment that encourages dialogue and collaboration.

Universities across the country have been invited to take part through institutional stalls, student delegations, competitions, and exhibitions. Organizers have also urged institutions to nominate focal persons to ensure effective coordination and active participation throughout the event.
