Karachi Hosts Vibrant “Jom2 Malaysia Chalo2 2025”

Karachi witnessed a vibrant celebration of education, trade, and cultural exchange as the Consulate General of Malaysia in Karachi and Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) successfully hosted the “Jom2 Malaysia Chalo2 2025” campaign alongside the Study in Malaysia Education Fair Pakistan 2025. The two-day event, held on September 13–14 at a local hotel, highlighted Malaysia’s growing role as a destination for world-class, affordable education and a hub of cultural diversity.

The fair brought together a dynamic lineup of participants, including MATRADE, Tourism Malaysia, ASEAN Missions in Karachi, ten leading Malaysian universities, Air Asia, and the Malaysia-Pakistan Business Council. Students, parents, and professionals engaged directly with university representatives to explore academic programs, scholarships, and future career opportunities.

A standout feature was the education fair, which provided one-on-one sessions for students seeking instant admission advice, scholarship guidance, and career counseling. The event also opened discussions on future collaborations between Pakistani and Malaysian universities, with a focus on transnational education partnerships.

His Excellency Ambassador Dato’ Mohammad Azhar Mazlan, the High Commissioner of Malaysia to Pakistan, underscored the significance of the event in strengthening bilateral ties. “Tonight’s event serves as a platform to strengthen these bonds by showcasing Malaysia’s vibrancy in education, tourism, trade, and cultural diversity,” he said. “It introduces opportunities for Pakistanis, particularly the younger generation, to connect with Malaysia, whether as students, entrepreneurs, or visitors.”
