The Higher Education Regulatory Authority (HERA) has announced a six-month internship programme aimed at equipping fresh graduates with practical skills and professional experience. The initiative, introduced under the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, is part of broader efforts to enhance employability among educated youth in the province.
According to an official advertisement, the programme is open to candidates who have completed their degrees within the last year. The internship seeks to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and workplace demands by providing hands-on exposure in a professional environment.
Eligibility for the programme is limited to candidates holding domicile of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Applicants are required to submit a course completion certificate issued by their respective educational institutions along with other necessary documents.
Interested candidates have been directed to apply within 15 days of the advertisement’s publication. The final deadline for submission of applications is March 5, 2026. Applicants must include a detailed curriculum vitae, attested copies of educational and personal documents, and two recent photographs.
Applications can be sent via postal mail to the Chairman, HERA, at Office No. 46/A, Sector B-2, Phase 5, Hayatabad, Peshawar. Alternatively, candidates may submit their documents electronically through the official email address provided by the authority.
The authority has stated that only shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews conducted by a selection committee. No travel or daily allowances will be provided for appearing in the interview.
Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend in line with rates approved by the provincial government. However, HERA has reserved the right to cancel or modify the recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason.
