KP Launches Plan to Revive Model Schools Across Province

The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has announced a major initiative to rehabilitate model schools and institutes throughout the province following a high-level meeting chaired by Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi.

The session, held at the Chief Minister’s House in Peshawar, focused on a comprehensive review of the Elementary and Secondary Education Department. Officials provided detailed briefings on the current condition of these institutions, highlighting key challenges related to administration, teaching quality, and infrastructure.

In response to these findings, the government has decided to move forward with a revival plan. To ensure a structured approach, a dedicated working group has been constituted and tasked with developing a thorough rehabilitation strategy.
