CM Maryam Nawaz Expands Hunarmand Jawan Program

Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Maryam Nawaz has launched the next phase of her flagship initiative, the “Maryam Nawaz ka Hunarmand Jawan” Program, designed to equip youth with advanced digital skills and foster self-reliance across the province.

Under this phase, free training is being provided in high-demand IT disciplines including Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Data Analytics, Digital Marketing, Graphic Design, Database Administration (DBA), and CRM Fundamentals. The courses will be conducted across 64 TEVTA (Technical Education & Vocational Training Authority) institutes throughout Punjab.

In an inaugural ceremony, Maryam Nawaz congratulated 1,600 successful students who secured admission after a competitive online test and interviews. She hailed them as the “future of a skilled Punjab,” emphasizing that their talent and dedication would play a vital role in shaping the province’s digital future.

A major feature of the program is the international certification students will receive upon completion. The initiative has partnered with global technology leaders such as Microsoft, Meta, Adobe, and Cisco, ensuring internationally recognized credentials and industry-relevant training.

Maryam Nawaz reaffirmed her government’s commitment to youth empowerment and economic development, stating that a digitally skilled workforce is essential for driving innovation, attracting investment, and strengthening Punjab’s economy.
